If you have prior experience with the Spanish language:

  • Please start by taking the online placement test. There are two links below depending on which campus you are on.
  • Only take the online placement immediately prior to the registration period in which you plan to take the course,
    • or immediately prior to setting up the oral proficiency and written follow-up exam if you are trying to place out.
  • Once you have received the results of your exam, you may enroll at the level in which you have been placed. If you are experiencing any difficulty registering, please contact us at wlc@northeastern.edu. If you feel that you have been placed at the wrong level, you should contact Professor Yelin at b.yelin@northeastern.edu to set up an oral interview.
