We offer majors and minors in Spanish, Dialogue of Civilization programs to Spain, Peru, and Argentina/Uruguay, a National Hispanic Honors Society, as well as the support you need to pursue study abroad and international co-ops.

If you have studied Spanish previously but not yet taken a Spanish course at Northeastern, it is necessary to complete the online placement test before the meeting, as your placement score will help determine your options for completing the minor. You can find a link to the placement test in the student hub.

How to Declare a Major

To declare one of our Bachelor of Arts majors, please contact CSSH Advising at csshadvising@northeastern.edu

To declare our Bachelor of Science major, please contact Bouvé Advising. Drop-in hours are available to all students. Bouvé students who already have an advisor, should schedule an advising appointment in the student HUB.
