Minors in Spanish

We offer majors and minors in Spanish, Dialogue of Civilization programs to Spain, Peru and Argentina/Uruguay, a National Hispanic Honors Society, as well as the support you need to pursue study abroad and international co-ops.

Minors

We offer two minors: Spanish and Spanish for Healthcare.

The Spanish minor offers students the opportunity to customize their learning experience through a variety of electives in culture, film, literature, linguistics, and Spanish for global professionals.

The Spanish for Healthcare minor is tailored to those students preparing to work in healthcare settings and it features two Spanish for healthcare professionals courses. You can learn more about Spanish for Healthcare at Northeastern here.

If you would like to learn more about the Spanish minor, as well as opportunities for Spanish minors at Northeastern, please sign up for an advising meeting with Professor Agostinelli.

If you have studied Spanish previously but not yet taken a Spanish course at Northeastern, it is necessary to complete the online placement test before the meeting as your placement score will help determine your options for completing the minor.
